Insurance Information/Funding Sources/Financial Assistance

• Children's Special Health Services (no current website) - This program may help pay for services or equipment not covered by insurance, Medicaid, CAP, or other programs. Services must be medically necessary and related to the child's medical condition. Call 1-800-737-3028 for more information.
• Hospital Traveler - provides low-cost lodging for medical-related traveling
• North Carolina Division of Medical Assistance
• UnitedHealthcare Children's Foundation - The UnitedHealthcare Children's Foundation is committed to enhancing the quality of life for children who have health care needs not covered by their commercial health insurance. The Foundation provides financial assistance toward the family's share of the cost of medical services.

Therapy and Recreational Programs - Includes Alternative Therapies, Music Therapy/Music Programs, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech/Language Therapy, Swimming/Water Therapy, and Therapeutic Horseback Riding.
